MAKE IT THEIRS
Add a name, dates and a message.
A name. The dates that mattered. A few words only your family would choose. An engraved plate makes a simple urn unmistakably theirs.
Choose a plate that fits the urn’s flat surface, or a freestanding easel to display beside it. Sizes, finishes and engraving choices vary by design. Our team can help you find the right fit.
The words you want to keep.
Shop engraved plates and easels separately. Measure the available flat area of your urn before choosing a plate; dimensions vary by design.
Keep a part of them close.
Many families choose an urn for home and a personal keepsake to wear. Each item is purchased separately.

What families ask first
What size urn do I need?
One cubic inch per pound of weight before cremation is a conservative starting point. It is not an exact conversion: a 200-cubic-inch urn may accommodate someone who weighed 225 pounds. The actual volume of ashes is the best guide. Our finder shows conservative matches and nearby smaller options, clearly marked for confirmation with your funeral home.
Can I personalize the urn?
Many urns offer direct engraving, an engraved plate or an engraved easel. Options vary by design and material. Open the product page to see its personalization choices, or ask our team for help.
How soon will it ship?
Production and shipping times depend on the urn and personalization. Check the product page and shipping information. If you need an urn for a service, call 1-877-723-4242 before ordering so we can check the timing together.
What if I only want to keep some of the ashes?
A keepsake urn holds a small portion and can be a thoughtful choice when ashes are shared, scattered or kept in more than one place. Choose by the amount you plan to keep, rather than the person’s full body weight.
Can two people share an urn?
Companion urns are designed for two people. Check the total capacity and whether the urn has separate compartments. When using the weight finder for a companion urn, enter the combined weight and select Companion; confirm the combined ash volume with your funeral home.
